HD1018: Acoustic Overlay for Masonry Floors

The Hush Acoustic Overlay Masonry Floor System is designed to upgrade the acoustic performance of existing masonry and concrete floors. By installing an acoustic floating floor overlay with resilient insulation, the system significantly reduces airborne and impact sound transmission, helping projects achieve Part E compliance. It is particularly effective in refurbishments and conversions where the original floor structure must be retained but acoustic improvements are required.
System Components
- Acoustic floating floor panel (e.g. Hush Panel 28 or as specified).
- Resilient acoustic insulation layer beneath the overlay.
- Perimeter isolation strip to prevent sound bridging.

Installation Guidance
