Hush-Panel 28 has been developed as a sound reducing floor panel that can be used as a structural or an overlay floorboard. When used as an overlay board the Hushfelt™ resilient layer can be applied to help resolve any instance of undulating in the surface of the boards.
Excellent results are achieved in both refurbishment and new build projects when using Hush-Panel 28 as part of a sound insulation system for separating floors. It is also an ideal flooring panel for ceramic tiling in conjunction with Permalayer and a peel clean version is available to enable builders and developers to achieve spotless handovers.

1. Lay the Hush-Panel 28 Floating Flooring in a conventional broken bond pattern. When laying directly over joists, Hush-10 Joist Strips are simply stapled onto the joist tops prior to application.
2. Glue all teegee joints using Hush-Bond Panel Adhesive.
3. Leave a 10-15mm expansion gap around all perimeters and press in Hush-Seal 20 Perimeter Seal ensuring that the floor floats freely of the walls maintaining acoustic isolation or perimeter detail as per Robust Detail instructions using Hush-RD Flanking Strip
