Part of Galaxy Insulation & Dry Lining

Hush relocated to North West England in 1998, supporting the development of a nationwide distribution service.

In October 2021, Hush Acoustics became part of Galaxy Insulation & Dry Lining. This brought together Hush’s specialist acoustic knowledge with Galaxy’s extensive technical resources and national distribution network and relocated its head office from Liverpool to Sheffield.

Today, Hush products are available through 14 locations across the UK. Customers can collect acoustic products from their nearest branch or arrange delivery directly to site, subject to product and branch availability.

This national network allows Hush to provide greater local availability while retaining the specialist advice and technical support for which Hush is known.

Sound insulation products and complete acoustic systems

Effective sound insulation depends on the complete construction—not just one product. Floors, walls and ceilings must be designed as complete systems, with careful consideration given to junctions, penetrations, flanking paths and installation.
