FSC certification ensures Hush Acoustics’ timber products represent a sustainable choice

Timber-based acoustic insulation products from Hush Acoustics can be used with confidence in building specifications where a high sustainability rating is sought, thanks to the company’s FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certification (FSC®C175334).
The internationally recognised FSC® certification demonstrates that the timber used in the manufacture of Hush Acoustics’ sound reduction products originates from sources independently audited to ensure they meet rigorous environmental, social, and economic standards.
This certification ensures that virgin timber or wood fibres used in the manufacture of Hush products come from FSC®-certified forests, which are responsibly managed, or from other verified recycled and FSC-controlled sources.
Many of the most widely used Hush Acoustics timber-based products now carry the FSC® certification, including the UK’s most specified acoustic floating floor panel, Hush Panel 28, and its acoustic battens. Visitors to the website can clearly identify which products are FSC® certified, as they are marked with the trademark licence code and logo.
The company’s sustainability strategy extends beyond its timber supply chain, incorporating post-consumer recycled materials for its resilient products and recyclable metal for its resilient bars.
