Suitable for:
Hush-Panel 17 has been designed as a thinner overlay board to minimise floor build where required, without compromising performance. Hush-Panel 17 reduces impact sound transmission through separating floors, achieving excellent results. The upper layer of moisture resistant MDF provides a uniformly smooth surface for application of floor finishes.
For advice on the use of Hush-Panel 17, as part of a system within any project, please contact our experienced technical team on 0151 933 2026 who will be happy to give comprehensive and practical advice to meet with your requirements.

*based on a recommended system incorporating Hush-Panel 17 over new floorboards
Test data for field tests in compliance with Building Regulations Document E and laboratory tests complying with Robust Details can be supplied upon request.
1. Lay the Hush-Panel 17 Floating Flooring in a conventional broken bond pattern.
2. Glue all teegee joints using Hush-Bond Panel Adhesive.
3. Leave a 10-15mm expansion gap around all perimeters and press in Hush-Seal 20 Perimeter Seal ensuring that the floor floats freely of the walls maintaining acoustic isolation or perimeter detail as per Robust Detail instructions using Hush-RD Flanking Strip.
At door thresholds, access hatches or in the absence of a teegee joint Hush-Grommet Fixing Isolators can be used sparingly to eliminate ‘lipping’. No other fixings should be used when fitting the floating floor as any restrictions can adversely affect performance. Skirting should be fitted two or three millimeters clear of the floor surface. (PCT only).
Full fitting instructions are supplied with all products and are available to download from the Installation Guides section.
